Collection Avant-Premiere De Chanel

Launched in April, this new collection takes inspiration from glamorous classic cinema.  Part of this collection are eight brand new Rouge Coco Shines.  These sheer hydrating lipsticks have a new formula with 30% more pigment, making them last longer therefore less reapplication needed.  The moisturising feel is also not compromised with this new formula, which is why these new Rouge Coco Shines are so tempting.  Favourites amongst these are Fiction (pomegranate red) and Suspense (pearl fuchsia)

How to incorporate neon into your make-up

Once popular in the late eighties and early nineties, neon has made a major comeback.  This vibrant and fun trend is impossible to miss, most noticeably on clothing and jewellery.  But how do we incorporate these fluorescent colours into our make-up?

After applying either a foundation or tinted moisturiser, choose a feature to concentrate on.  Try Urban Decay eyeliner in Electric, a neon blue or Makeup Forever eyeshadow in Neon Pink to emphasis the eyes. Or choose to  highlight the lips with a neon or with a hint of neon lipstick.  Try Lancome Rouge in Love in Rose Boudoir, a luminous warm neon pink.  Or Mac lipstick in Neon Orange, a creamy bright orange.

The important thing to remember when doing a make-up look with neon colours is to keep the face very bare apart from the accentuating colours.  Choosing between a neon yellow eyeliner or bright orange lipstick instead of applying both will make this look standout without looking crazy.

Best black eyeliners

Black eyeliner is a beauty staple and finding a perfect one is essential for every woman's personal make-up collection.  Experimenting with different brands and deciding between pencil, gel or liquid is all a part of the process.

These are my recommendations for great black eyeliners

Gel
Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner in Black Ink and Mac Fluidline in Blacktrack.  Both gel liners are long wearing and smudge proof.  With an angled brush it is easy to control the thickness and shape of these eyeliners when applied.

Liquid
Mac Superslick Liquid Eyeliner in On The Hunt.  This wet look liner is ideal to quickly apply and leaves a smooth and glossy finish.
Makeup Forever Aqua Liner in Mat Black.  Described as a high precision waterproof liquid eyeliner, the intensity and staying power are great for lasting the entire day.

Soft but intense, this classic pencil is ideal to create a smokey eye.
